Finding a right cleanser was a bit of a battle, its either make you or break you.

I have an combination and acne prone skin, choosing a right cleanser is very important for me because i will break out if i choose the wrong one.

I'm still a refugee in my relative house along with my family (now adding a new member, my baby girl #hug)

after moving in.. one of the thing i have to find is facial wash because i lost mine somewhere X(

So for few days i used my husband facial foam for men (i don't like the manly smell ughh) then i decided to try Garnier (i only used it for several weeks though coz it contain salicylic acid which is forbidden while I'm pregnant, but enough to give a review on it)

My opinion :
strong fruity smell (it bothers me a bit when I'm using it)
creamy texture and creates enough foam
doesn't break me out
i don't really notice the brightening effect
after rinsing it leaves some kind like a film on my face (like most facial foam do) which i don't like
perfect for oily-combination skin and will be a bit drying if you have dry skin


Pros :
very affordable (around 10rb-ish)
easy to find, you can find it in any mini market,supermarket and drugstore.
contain salicylic acid which is great for acne
perfect for daily use (non heavy makeup)
doesn't break me out
suitable for oily combination skin

Cons :
strong fruity smell (just meeeee, maybe you will love it)
leaves kinda like a film on my face
not suitable for dry skin


I will have to continuing my search for my perfect cleanser... do you have any recommendation for me??

1 Week with O.S.T Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum

Skin update...

I've been using skincare line from Sulwhasoo this couple months.. but recently I felt that there's no more improvement on my skin.. the acne's still coming even if it went down fast, it still leaves acne marks on my skin.. and it sucks because almost all my face is now covered with dark, red and brown spots (i have freckles too) it's just annoying to see...
so i guess now it's time to try out different product that can lighten or even make my spots DISSAPEARED woooshhhh... hahahaha

Vitamin C is always great for brightening and lightening spots... before, i only used Vit C serum from my dermatologist.. last time i tried to used it again, didn't work well on me.

THEN i asked my uncle google and I found this serum from O.S.T (Only S. Trend) which actually i've heard before from a youtuber called Liah Yoo (Yellowycream)
i was going to buy on WISHTREND then i found out that O.S.T already have their distributor here in Indonesia... ( greattt now i dont have to wait 2 weeks till 1 month for delivery)
So i contacted them.. i love how fast they respond and after i made my payment.. i received my item the next day (Fastttt)... ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

my thoughts :
oily texture but not thick and absorb quickly into my skin.. i didn't have that tingly sensation when first applied like some and i didn't feel oily at all (this happened if I'm in AC room all day) but if I'm mostly outside yesss it will make my face oily, that's why i suggested to use it as night treatment, if you want to use it day time make sure to wear sunscreen or sunblock.
smell citrus-y but disappeared quickly after applied.
it will sting a bit if you just pop your acne (which is highly NOT recommended to do)

How I use it :
Put 3-4 drops onto my palm.. rub/warm it a bit then pat it onto my face (make my face less oily)
first 3 days i used it as day and night treatment because i was in hospital givin birth to my little baby girl Carissa.
i used it alone (wash face then OST vit c20 serum)

results???

after 1 week using OST VIT C20 serum.. i can see my acne spots are fading \(^.^)/ no breakouts or new acne... i haven't notice anything with my whiteheads and blackheads but so far i'm loving it.. and i will continue using this for a while and see further results.

pros :

quite affordable, bought it at OST Indonesia for IDR 245.000 (usd 20)

** available International shipping at +WISH TREND for usd 24 (now disc to usd 19)

effective and fast results

Cons :

only available online

not travel friendly (since the bottle made of glass)

need to be carefully storing the product (refrigerated after open and keep away from sun)

REVIEW MAYBELLINE HYPERSHARP LINER

REVIEW Maybelline Hypersharp Liner - 01 so black

Bought it at local Guardian store for around IDR 60.000ish but i got a good deal which is 2 pcs if i add more IDR 1000 woohoo!! 1 for my sister and 1 for myself.. So i only paid around IDR 30.000   

I usually use my Dollywink liquid liner but i don't love it enough to say that it was my holy grail pen liner. I prefer k-palette.

And because past few weeks Indonesia had "water problem"... (I hope everyone is fine).. I was one of the people that had to moved from their home because of the flood.. Luckily i still have my relatives to rely on... So packing for makeup items was a privilege for me... Eyeliner is one of the items i forgot... Hahahaha (i forgot many things since it was in a rush and dark too because the light was out) 

Enough about the flood.. now i don't have eyeliner and i won't be back in my home any time soon.. I need to find one.. Maybelline just happened to be there for me hahaha...   

Simple packaging just like any other eyeliner (black with golden cap)

 I like the tip which is very small so you can draw very thin line (0,01mm)

It's not the blackest black

it need a few second to set, after that I curled my lashes.. no fading.

*not like my Dollywink.. Even i gave 30sec to set.. When i curl my lashes it still fade  (T.T)* 

Some don't find that problem with Dollywink.. Maybe its just me :p   

I don't put primer and I have oily lids... This fades at the inner corner after few hours, next time I'll try to put primer first (aaaa i forgot my primer too)

I rate this 7 / 10
will repurchase if they have deal like that again.
did Maybelline came out with different shade?? I think only black...

Yay last post in 2013.. time went so fast.. thinking about this past year failure and success, good times and bad times, mistakes i've made... i wish in 2014 and the next year.. i could be a better person, a better mom and a better wife...

I just bought this recently and i know sleek blush had been around for a long time, i never had any interest to buy more blush (for me 3 blush is enough.. natural/rosie, orange and pink) but previous black friday tempted me too much >.<
After choosing for a while.. i decided to go for this shade

SLEEK BLUSH - PIXIE PINK 8g

Comes in sleek black packaging with mirror inside.. i was expecting a bigger pan.. but this is actually very cute.. love the packaging♥
I don't think it's as VERY pigmented as some say (the swatch on my hand took 3 swipes) or maybe it was still brand new.

This is what it looks like on my face

I dont know why it turned out to be kind of peachy on my skin.. but it looks very subtle and didn't quite as scary as it looks on the pan.

The blush is available in 9 shades (in luxola.com) but sometimes sleek came up with limited edition color.. and im sure i will be waiting for it...

And now this has become my go to blush.. i wear this every time i go out...

I bought this also in sample size to tried out first *sachet*

★texture : light cream.. very very easy to blend
★color : available in 2 shades ... no. 1 pink beige and no. 2 natural beige
★smell : for me it smell flower slighly minty scent but not too overpowering.
★My skin conditions : oily -combination (oily at Tzone) lots of freckles, sun spots and acne spots, fine lines
★coverage : light coverage, cover my redness nicely... i add another layer on top my problem areas to get medium coverage.
★finish : dewy-semi matte.. not as dewy as sum37 air rising tf cc cream
★after few hours :
I did my routine normally (go to the market with motorcycle, cooked, cleaned up and etc)... it was light rain outside so i had to put on my hat and my face mask... i got oily on my tzone after 4hours but other part of my face was still smooth... i really like this cc cream because it provide enough coverage for everyday and i barely notice anything on my skin.

 I mixed no.1 and no.2 together...

Pros :
- contain spf 35 pa++
- enough coverage for everyday routine (for me at least)
- brighten up and even out the skin
- it claim that the ingredients have skincare benefits up to more than 50%
- very lightweight on the skin
- suitable for all skin type

Cons :
- expensive i think it cost around IDR 500.000-600.000

i think i will buy this cc cream... i love this....♥♥♥♥♥

Review - Sum37 Air Rising TF CC Cream

Yoohooo... another review... this time is cc cream from s:um 37

I'm sure everyone already know what cc cream is.. well for you who doesn't

Cc cream is Color Correcting Cream or Color Control Cream, basically more refined BB Cream, cc cream usually have more skincare benefits also lighter than bb cream.. but sheerer than bb cream in coverage.. i myself have never tried cc cream.. (#cough.. yes i know.. so so late rite?).. well i have lot of problems on my face that sheer coverage products wont be enough.. so i think why should i try... well its different now.. with everyone  talking about cc cream.. i just cant help my self to try it.. hahaha cannot resist the temptation..
Nowadays there're so many cc cream brands that came up with good coverage too.. this is also why i want to give it a try.

NOW.. lets continue with this one first oke..

I can't say about the real packaging (it's a squeeze tube) becoz i bought mine in sample size *sachets*

★Texture : Creamy but very easy to blend.. feels light on the skin.
★Color : white cream but when blended turns to beige slightly pink color
★Smell : for me.. i barely smell anything
★My skin conditions : oily -combination (oily at Tzone) lots of freckles, sun spots and acne spots, fine lines
★Coverage : sheer coverage, even out my skin, cover my redness, brighten up my skin
★Finish : dewy
★After few hours :
i did my routine as usual which is typical mommy business (went to the market, cooked, cleaned the house etc).. this cream didn't hold as long as i want to, i get oily and sticky after 2-3hours even though i set my face with powder after applied the cc cream (i prefer matte satin finish) when i looked at the mirror the cc cream seem to dissapeared.. the acne spots and freckles are all showing through and my face looked dull/dark.
Maybe this is more suitable for people who likes dewy finish and not going to do much outdoor activities.

Pros :

- brighten up my skin

- contain spf 28 pa++

- feels lightweight

Cons :

- feels sticky and disappeared after few hours

- not so good oil control (last up to 2-3 hours)

- not very affordable for everyone.. price range around IDR 400.000-above 500.000

(But you can always buy in sample :D)

UPDATE 1 MONTH WITH SULWHASOO SKINCARE

Hiii.. for you who's following my skin journey with Sulwhasoo... here's my update after more than 1 month.

I'm using different lightning (actually application on my phone) to take this update 1 month pic.. and its actually brighter so you can see much better hows my skin actually is ( pls beware hehehehe)

This is just a quick update and im changing the routine, check info below (mostly still Sulwhasoo)

Both of the pic taken after i washed my face and put on my skincare, thats why my skin look glowy.

3 days after i posted out my 1 week update.. i change my routine to:
Day : FCS + Herbclinic + eyecream + sunblock
Night : FCS + Harmonizen + eyecream (every 2-3 days i exfoliate and rinse with green tea water)

And yessss ladies....!! my skin purged for 2 weeks.. then i stopped using Herbclinic.. continued with just FCS + Harmonizen day and night.

The new spots on my face are because the purging proses... now i still have bumps under my skin and i will not continue using Herbclinic temporaly.. my sister's wedding coming soon and i'd rather have spots that i can hide with concealer than red acne bump :D
My skin texture improve a lott (i know the pic dont show it).... i have to keep reminding my self not to touch my face too much lol
My skin look brighter and plump
I don't see much changes on my freckles/ sun spots but, i don't expect too much from 1 month usage.. they dont worry me much since i have them for years and years that i got sicked by them then eventually used to them hahahahaah


So for now my skincare routine are :
★ DAY and NIGHT ★
washed my face
First Care Serum (FCS)
Eyecream : History of Whoo Hwa Hyun review here
Harmonizen Regenerating Cream
And every 2-3 days i exfoliate and rinse my face with green tea water.

After doing this routine for a while (almost 2w) i noticed my skin is having to much moisturizer sometimes it felt sticky in the afternoon.. i think i'm gonna change my day time routine with something lighter.. but for now i'm pretty happy with the result.. And will still continue....

PS : every person have different skin type / condition / reaction, so i cannot guarantee that you'll have the same results as mine.. this review is based just on my personal experience only.

Ingredients :

The pen itself has it own seal ♥ so you know it's really new

The pen tip is not too hard nor too soft.. just prefect... but for me i wish it was a bit smaller,  i think for beginners this is perfect eyeliner pen.

Left (black) Right (brown).. the difference was not too noticeable after i applied it on skin.

Above : rub it a few times after 30secs (still good.. yay!!)
Below : sprinkle some water (the color wears off... :( )

This is what happened when i rub it after sprinkle some water on the eyeliner.

Pros :
- very affordable, i got mine around IDR 20.000 each on online store
- smudge proof as long as you stay away from water
- on me it last quite a while (w/ primer) up to 6 hours
- easy to apply
- efficient and easy to carry
- perfect for beginners
- very easy to clean

Cons :
- not waterproof
- i only find it on online store only
- i don't think this is suitable for oily lid (i recommend using primer before)
- the brown color seem to have better staying power than the black one


I believe MIZZU come up with mascara too.

REVIEW - History of Whoo Hwa Hyun eye cream- Best eye cream!!! with before and after pic

Ive tried so many eye cream products from high end to drugstore.. some worked on certain problem (just dark circle or just fine lines) some just didn't work at all and some took forever to noticed the effect.. but some can cause other problems to your eye. ×_×

I'm a late night person.. i usually sleep around 2-3am (after finishing all the house chores, watching youtube, reading blogs and stuff)
And being around 30's i have already notice fine lines around my eyes...

I started using eye cream when i was around 19 y/o.. started with drugstore brand and eventually trying out higher brand.

The last eye cream that I've tried cause me 2 milias under my eye sob sob*
maybe the cream was too rich for me..
after reading some reviews about hwa hyun eye cream on femaledaily i was excited to try it. (They said you can see the result in just 1 week <<< this words make me looked up stores that sold the samples that very moment) :D

Little bit about the product :

cant say much about the packaging coz I only bought the sample sachets to try (1 sachets can last up to 5 days for me)

The cream umm well more like a thick gel texture that will be a bit sticky if you put on too much, Contain gold shimmers. the scent is wonderful well at least for me.. floral scent but not too overpowering.

So now I've been using it for around 2 weeks (day and night) and i can say that this is by far the best eye cream I've ever tried.

I noticed it lightened my eye area within the first week. Now one of my milias started to disappeared (almost) and i can see improvement on my fine lines too.
(Too bad i don't have before and after picture)

I absolutely LOVE this eye cream !! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
(Even told my husband to use this and he have eye problems worst than mine :P, so whenever i take out too much product.. i just put it on his eye)


Pros
- Help reduced dark circle and fine lines (for me even my milia)
- the result can be noticed in just 1-2 weeks period of time
- suitable for dry to combination skin, id say even oily (just put the right amount of product)
- smells wonderful (in my opinion)
- easy to find (online or in counter)

Cons
- Pricey (the price may vary depends where you buy)
- not for people who don't like floral scent
- hmm what else.. well i guess that's it

update : this is the before and after pic... a little bit different on the lightning, after picture actually taken with better lightning (still bad quality, but i hope you can see the difference)
